Let's have a look at your houses.

Tell us where you are and how many properties you've got. We'll come back to you with a firm quote and a time that works around your season.

We'll get back to you within one working day. No obligation, and we don't share your details.

What happens next

No sales process, no chasing.

Three steps, and you’ll know the price before we drive out.

1

We ring you back

Within one working day, usually the same day. We’ll ask how many houses, how many spaces in each, and when you need it done. That’s normally the whole conversation.

2

You get a firm price

In writing, travel included, before we drive out. If you’ve several houses we quote them together as one job so you’re only paying travel once.

3

We book a time that suits

Around milking, around the season, and around Moving Day if that’s what this is about. Then it’s done and the report is in your inbox.

Where to find us

Alexandra, and out from there.

Our office is at 42 Russell Street, Alexandra.

We work across Central Otago — Alexandra, Clyde, Cromwell, Roxburgh, Omakau, Ophir, Bannockburn, Tarras, Millers Flat, Naseby, Ranfurly and the Maniototo, and the farms in between.

Travel is charged at $1.29 per kilometre, one way from the office, with no free radius and no minimum. That way you can work out the cost before you ring, and there’s nothing on the invoice you didn’t expect.

If you’re just outside the district and not sure, ask anyway. If we can’t get to you we’ll usually know someone who can.

Timing

Ring us at these four moments.

Most of what goes wrong is a timing problem rather than a money one.

March – April

Before Moving Day

If your team is changing over on 1 June, this is when to book. The last fortnight of May is the busiest of our year and it does fill up.

When notice is given

Exit inspections

A service tenancy ending with the employment needs at least 14 days’ written notice. That notice is your cue to ring, not the week after they’ve gone.

Before you advertise

Rent-ready and compliance

Find out what the house needs while it’s empty and while installers still have capacity. Two to three months ahead is comfortable.

Before someone moves in

Entry inspections

The record has to be made before the bag hits the floor. Healthy homes compliance is required from day one of the tenancy, with no grace period.

Before you call

Four things people ask first.

How quickly can you come out?

Outside Moving Day, usually within a few days. Through late May and early June you should assume we’re booked, so give us as much warning as you can.

Can you do several houses in one visit?

Yes, and it’s how we’d rather work. Farms with more than one dwelling are quoted together as a package and scheduled in a single run, so travel is charged once for the visit rather than once per house.

Do I need to be there?

No. We just need access. Most farm inspections happen while you’re working, and the report comes to you afterwards. If you’d like to walk through it with us, you’re very welcome.

Do you work outside Central Otago?

Not at this stage. We’ve kept the patch tight so we know the housing stock and aren’t charging you half a day of travel. If you’re outside it, ring anyway — we’ll point you somewhere if we can.

Keep in touch

Tell us how we did.

If we’ve done work for you, a Google review genuinely helps — we’re a new business in a small district, and it’s how the next farmer finds us. And if anything on your property needs attention before your next inspection, just ring.
